Best.hotel.ever "Amazing hotel: great people, great food, extreme comfort and great facilities. Loved everything from the private parking to the excellent location, the great complementary items on the room, and dont get me started on the shower soaps and shampoo. Probably the best place I've been to in a long time. Oh and the greatest surprise of all was definitely the delicious breakfast, with the freshly baked croissants and the super nice staff. If we ever return to Edimburgh we will surely be staying here again. Just perfect!"
Decent Place "Very nice place to stay. Nice rooms, piping hot water in shower. Very efficient staff. Good location - can easily walk into centre of Edinburgh (Princes St, etc). Would recommend this place to everyone."
Salisbury Hotel Edinburgh "Highly recommend this hotel, within 15mins walking distance to the Royal Mile.Lots of public bus routes nearby. First impressions, hard to believe you are so near to the city centre, atractive looking Georgian house, lots of original features.All the staff very helpful, friendly and you can see they all really enjoy their respective positions. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room.Breakfast included in the cost, continental with ample food and choice.We spent a weekend there for a liesure break, will definitely stay there again, highly recommended.Off street parking. On the one down side this is not a hotel suitable for people with mobility disabilities. Well done Salisbury....we hope to see you again soon."
Wonderfully friendly "I booked this last minute to collect my daughter from Uni. It was snowing when I arrived, but the welcome was warm. Great room, fabulous value, all massively enhanced by the terrifically friendly receptionist."
Great experience "Nice room, big and quiet. Excellent service. Breakfast is from 8 to 10 but if you have to leave earlier, the night before they give you a bag with fruit, juice,etc,, very nice. Is a bit far from the center but at the corner there are lot of buses."
Very convenient "Very convenient hotel close to the City Center, University and Holirood Park with free parking. Spacious rooms with newly done bathroom. Decent continental breakfast. Cooked Scottish breakfast with extra charge."
Exceptional value "Wonderful stay,receptionists were very helpful,always smiling and always there. This hotel was great value,rooms were clean & modern, location bout 7min bus ride to edinburgh town.once again ...hats off to the staff which help make our 1st stay in scotland a great experience would definately reccomend this hotel. Small bakery (edinburgh bakery) 2 mins away freshly cooked room snacks sausages rolls /large steak pies( we took some home) fresh...tasty...cheap.. hidden gem."

Excellent stay!! "Lovely stay,massive clean rooms and nice big bath and shower. Nice staff and well located. Will be back. Also lovely choices for breakfast. Rooms where ver clean and fresh. All in all a wonderfull stay. Have no complaints at all."
Lovely hotel and staff "We spent 14&15 November in the Blackett room, a large family room with double bed large settee/bed & ensuite.plenty of complementary tea/coffee/hot chocolate,there is a desk, flat screen TV and built in fridge! Also an iron and board in the ample wardrobe. So all your needs catered for, on this room there is French doors leading to a little garden outside with seating, a really lovely room, breakfast was delishious and the staff very helpful and always pleasant, we would definitely stay again, Edinburgh Royal Mile is only a 10 min bus ride away and every bus that goes past will take you there, also plenty of bars and restaurants on the main road so as not to miss being outside of the hustle and bustle... Definitely stay again :0)"
